Entering Tax Information

To provide Cashbook with the information it needs to calculate all the applicable taxes on your transactions, you must set up Tax Groups with the relevant Tax Authorities etc. in Sage 300cloud Common Services Tax Services.

When entering an amount, Cashbook will calculate the tax amount to be deducted, and allocate it to a General Ledger account.

A tax group is the combination of all the taxing authorities and tables used in calculating taxes in a specific area.
