Email Advice Checkbox
To email advices, users must ensure that:
- Email settings are configured and tested in CB Options | Email Settings.
- The message is set up in C/B Options | Email Messages.
- The delivery method is configured in Miscellaneous Codes | Address.
Note: You can now send Advices via email starting from version
2025.
Online : (Web and On-Premise)
When the Email Advice checkbox is not visible:
- The entry has a blank Miscellaneous Code.
- The Miscellaneous Code Delivery Method is set to "Mail".
When the Email Advice checkbox is visible:
If the Email Advice checkbox is selected:
- The Report Style must be set to Advices Only or AP Advices Only for both
EFT and normal payments.
For EFT batches:
- Only advices can be printed.
Offline (On-Premise ONLY)
When Email Advice is selected:
For EFT batches:
- The Report Style must be set to Advices.
- If the Miscellaneous Code is blank or if the Delivery Method is set to
"Mail," the entry will be skipped, and a warning will appear in the error
stack.
