Linking RecXpress to Sage Bank Feeds can streamline your financial management processes by automatically importing bank transactions into RecXpress for easier reconciliation.
Using RecXpress with SFTP and Bank Feeds will provide the ultimate solution for managing your accounts.
Note: Bank Feeds are available only for subscription users. Contact Sage to obtain the necessary license. E-statement retrieval is available only in the OnPremise edition.
Step 1: Setup Bank Feeds Rules Template
Log in to Sage300.
Navigate to C/B RecXpress Setup | RecXpress Rules.
Create a Rules Template specifically for Sage E-statements. This template will inform RecXpress that the statements imported using this template are Bank Feeds statements.
After creating your Rules Template, navigate to C/B Setup | Bank Accounts | RecXpress tab.
Step 2: Connect to Your Bank
Enter the Bank Code you wish to connect to Bank Feeds.
After entering your Bank Code, ensure you have selected 'Retrieve Statement Method'.
Below the 'Check for Duplicates' option, select the drop-down menu.
From the drop-down menu, you will see the following options:
Select Sage Bank Feeds.
After selecting Sage Bank Feeds, the 'Connect Bank Feed' button will be enabled below the drop-down menu.
Step 3: Select Your Bank
Using the drop-down menu, select the country where your bank is located.
Select your bank from the list.
Step 4: Authenticate with Your Bank
Follow the prompts to log in to your bank account.
Enter your online banking credentials.
Complete any multi-factor authentication (MFA) steps as required by your bank.
Step 5: Grant Permissions
Authorize Sage to access your bank account data. This typically involves granting permission for Sage to view your bank transactions.
Step 6: Confirm Connection
Once authenticated, confirm the connection.
Choose the account(s) you wish to link.
