Rolling Back Transactions

Cashbook uses the feature whereby transactions are rolled back automatically if any errors occur when posting or adding transactions. There are two types of roll backs:

On-Line

When you are busy posting and a database error is found e.g. keys don’t match or records are missing, the posting will stop and your batches will be rolled back to the last batch correctly posted.

At this point you must run the Cashbook Check Data Integrity function as well as the Integrity Check within the Sage 300cloud Database Setup before you re-try the posting.

System Crash

If in the middle of posting, you have a system crash, when Cashbook is restored, it is necessary to run the Integrity Checker in Sage 300cloud Database Setup.
