When a transaction is reconciled in full and cleared from the Cashbook it can either be cleared completely or placed in the Cashbook History file which can be used for enquiries and analysis.
The amount of transactions kept in the History file depends on the number of days you specified in Bank Accounts - Options. (C/B Setup| Bank Accounts, Options tab)
For Example: 'Keep History Transactions for' 92 days and you run the Clear Until Date – 30 September 2010, all transactions dated earlier than 1st July 2010 will not be transferred to the History file.
If you do not wish to keep history, the number of days must be set to zero in C/B Setup|Bank Accounts, Options tab.
