The ability to automatically backup across 5 main functions; Single Posting, Range Posting, Range Reversals, Clearing Transactions and G/L creation.

The administrator can setup the option whether this should be enabled per user, whether confirmation is required, you can add a default description and build a description with a Posting Sequence, Batch ID or Batch Description. The backup description can be overwritten in a range post and a range reversal.

Backup can also be setup to require confirmation from the user. When confirm Backup is enabled you will be prompted with the following message ‘Would you like to Backup the database before Posting?’ If ‘No’ is selected the process will be performed without a Backup. All actions are recorded and written per user to a Backup Audit Report file.
