You can do an adjustment on the fly by right-clicking and selecting Adjust from the menu.
If your focus is on a reconciled in error entry when selecting the Adjust option, the Adjustments grid will be populated with all entries that have been reconciled in error.
Note: You can not adjust entries that are reconciled
If you have selected the entry for the adjustment batch enter the Date, Entry Description, Source Code, Account Code and Comments you want to assign to the entry and select Batch Create to create a batch of the variance amounts.

You can select the Reverse Amount tick box to populate the Adjustment Amount field with a contra amount of the entry being adjusted. |

Enter a date for the adjustment entry. |
Entry Description |
Enter an entry description by which the adjustment can be identified. This can be the reason for the adjustment. |
Source Code |
Enter a source code to identify the type of transaction. The source code tells you where the transaction comes from and what kind of transaction it is. |
Account |
Enter the General Ledger account to which you want to post the adjustment. |
Comments |
Enter an adjustment comment. |

To Mark an entry in the bank reconciliation double click or select the space bar in the column with the heading “M” for Mark.
If your focus is on a marked entry when selecting the Adjust option, the Adjustments grid will be populated with all entries that have been marked.
Select All On to select all the marked entries for the adjustment batch or All Off to de-select all the marked entries.
If you have selected the entry for the adjustment batch enter the Date, Entry Description, Source Code, Account Code and Comments you want to assign to the entry and select Batch Create to create a batch of the adjustment entries.
If the entry type of the batch is Adjustment you will have the option to reconcile the adjustment entries during posting of the adjustment batch.
Right click your mouse on the relevant un-reconciled transaction in your bank reconciliation and select Adjust to do a quick and easy adjustment on the fly.
